Where is the campsite located?
In the Vendée, at 62 rue du moulin cassé in Saint Jean de Monts, on the edge of a national forest. 1.8 km from the city center and 900 meters from the beach.
What is the opening period of the campsite?
From May to mid-September. Telephone reception all the rest of the year at 02 51 58 10 61.
What are the opening hours of the reception?
Low season : 9h30-12h30 and 14h30-18h
High season (July-August): 8:30am-12:30pm and 2pm-7:30pm
Can we arrive outside of the reception opening hours?
No, except in case of force majeure… We do not do late arrivals, so we will not be able to welcome you and make the entry of the premises after these hours.
However, in case of force majeure, a cell phone number will be available on site.
What are the opening hours of the gate?
7:30am – 11pm
What is the size of the campsite?
1,5 ha for 59 sites.
What are the nearest train stations and airports?
The bus station of Saint Jean de Monts is 2 km from the campsite, a bus stop is located 150 meters from the campsite.
The railway station of Challans is 20 minutes away by car and the airport of Nantes Atlantique is 1 hour away by car.
Does the campsite offer themed events?
In order to ensure the peace and quiet of the campsite, we do not offer any entertainment.
Is the campsite accessible to people with reduced mobility?
Yes
Do you have internet access?
Wifi is available in the whole campsite (paying service). Packages are available for purchase at the front desk or online when you attempt to log in.
What are the services offered by the campsite?
Gas barbecues, refrigerators (according to availability), baby kits (high chair + baby bed), laundry service with washing machine and dryer.
In high season, bread and pastries to be pre-ordered (the day before 6pm for the next day)
Is there a snack bar on the campsite?
We do not have a snack bar on the campground. Food-trucks are present on the campsite twice a week in July and August and we have a grocery store and a bar. We can advise you according to your desires on the many choices of restaurants in the resort and the surrounding area.
What is the opening period for the convenience store and bar?
From May to September
Is the pool heated? What are its opening hours?
The swimming pool is covered and heated to 28° from May to September. It is equipped with a SPA, massaging benches, a paddling pool, water games for children and a solarium.
Opening hours :
During the low season: 10:30 am to 6 pm
During the high season: 10:30 am to 8 pm
Is the pool open to guests?
The water park is private and free of charge and is only accessible to people who live on the campsite. Your visitors will not have access to it.
Are swim shorts allowed at the pool?
No, French regulations prohibit them.
What do you need to bring with you when you rent a mobile home?
It is necessary to foresee your sheets and towels (possibility of renting some at the time of your reservation). Comforters, blankets and pillows are provided as well as all necessary dishes.
The mobile homes are all equipped with an electric coffee maker, a Nespresso coffee maker with capsules, a microwave, a kettle and a toaster.
Is there a television in the rentals?
Yes
Is cleaning included in the price of my rental?
No, this is an additional charge to you.
Are pets allowed in the mobile homes?
Animals are not allowed in mobile homes
Is it possible to install a tent next to the mobile home or on a pitch?
For safety and insurance reasons, it is not possible to install a tent on the site.
On the other hand, you can rent a bare spot to set up a tent.
Is a baby considered a person?
A baby is indeed considered a person in its own right.
My mobile home has a capacity of 4 people, can we be 5?
The capacities of the mobile home are strict. A baby or an adult cannot be added. The children are well accounted for.
How many people can fit on a site?
6 people maximum
Are all sites equipped with an electrical connection?
Yes
Is an adapter needed for the electrical connections of the locations?
Yes, an adapter is necessary, that’s why we rent adapters which are included in the arrival deposit
Are charcoal barbecues allowed?
No, a prefectural decree prohibits them because of the proximity of the forest. Only gas or electric barbecues (maximum 2000 W) are allowed.
It is possible to rent a gas barbecue at the campsite reception (5€ per meal or 7€ per day).
What time can we arrive?
For the stays in pitch, from 2 pm.
For stays in mobile homes, from 3pm.
When renting a pitch or a mobile home, will I be asked for a deposit?
For the rental of a pitch, a 20€ deposit will be asked on arrival for the car badge (and adapter if needed).
For the rental of a mobile home, a deposit of 310€ will be required upon arrival (220€ for possible damages and 90€ for possible cleaning according to the 1 and 2 bedroom models, 120€ for the 3 bedroom model).
How can we know if there is availability?
By going to the website of the campsite, under the heading ‘Book’, you can select the desired period of your stay, the number of people and access the availability. You can also contact us by phone or by mail.
Is it possible to reserve a specific location?
Yes, depending on availability, this request must be specified at the time of booking.
How many vehicles are allowed per reservation? Where to park?
Only one vehicle is allowed per site.
You have the possibility to park the second vehicle on the parking lot of the campsite (paying rate).
How do we organize our departure: inventory of fixtures, recovery of the deposit, etc.?
For the inventory of fixtures, go to the reception at the latest the day before your departure, to fix the time of the inventory of fixtures. In order to spread out the appointments, we set times between 8am and 10am in high season.
Do you offer cancellation insurance?
When you make your reservation, you can opt for cancellation insurance. We propose you the company CAMPEZ COUVERT. The conditions are indicated on the downloadable document “Cancellation Insurance”, on our website. Please read them carefully to be aware of the details, as not all causes for cancellation will be considered. In case of cancellation you will then deal directly with the company CAMPEZ COUVERT. After the reservation you will not be able to add it and you will have to contact your own insurer if you wish.

What payment methods are accepted for reservations?
Cheque, bank transfer, ANCV vacation voucher, credit card or cash.
Can we use the “VACAF” system as a payment method?
No, our campsite is not VACAF approved.
For a rental, must the entire balance be paid at the time of reservation?
At the time of booking, only the deposit representing 30% of the reservation must be paid. An email will be sent to you one month before your arrival to settle the remaining balance due.
How much is the tourist tax?
The tourist tax is intended for municipalities and communities of municipalities. It amounts to 0.65 cents per person (over 18) per day.
