From the port of Fromentine, the crossing takes only 30 to 45 minutes to disembark at Port Joinville. 17 km from the coast, the island of Yeu is a small corner of paradise that is among the most beautiful islands in France.

Camping near Noirmoutier

Known as the island of mimosas for its mild climate, the island of Noirmoutier is an authentic and preserved island with its 40 km of beach and its salt marshes.
To access it, you can take the bridge that connects the island to the mainland or the famous Passage du Gois, a 4 km submersible road unique in the world that connects the south and the north of the island at low tide.

Come and discover the places not to be missed of the island of Noirmoutier such as its salt marshes, the Bois de la Chaise (classified site) and its villas, the beach of the Ladies and its aligned beach huts, the Vieil (small village of fishermen with narrow lanes), the fishing port of Herbaudière and the castle of Noirmoutier.

On the way back to the bridge, you will cross the agricultural plains where the Bonnotte, the potato of Noirmoutier, is grown.
